Unlock Your Golfing Potential with Expert Assessment and Conditioning

Whether you’re a competitive golfer or a weekend player, improving your body’s movement and strength can make a big difference to your game — and help prevent injury. At our Hexham clinic, we offer Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Golf Assessments and strength & conditioning programs specifically designed to help golfers play better, swing more efficiently, and stay pain-free.

Led by a qualified physiotherapist with TPI training, our golf services blend clinical expertise with a deep understanding of biomechanics and golf-specific movement.

What is a TPI Golf Assessment?

A TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Golf Assessment is a detailed movement screen used to identify physical limitations that may be affecting your swing. It doesn’t try to change your natural style — it helps your body move more efficiently within your swing pattern.

The assessment includes:

  • A functional movement screen tailored to golf
  • Analysis of mobility, stability, balance, and posture
  • Identification of restrictions or compensations
  • A personalised program to address your unique needs

You’ll gain insights into how your body influences your swing, and how improving key areas (like thoracic rotation, core control, or hip mobility) can positively impact your performance.

Our clients say…

  • Sara Mather is the best physio in hexham. InSync physiotherapy has cured all my aches and pains. Professional and friendly – would highly recommend.

    Jessica
  • I can highly recommend InSync physio! My husband and I have both found Sara gets to the bottom of our problems and helps us understand the best pathway to recovery. With treatment in the clinic and the easy to follow exercises she prescribes we have both been surprised at the speed of our recovery.

  • Ever since I started my Physio sessions with Sara my physical life has completely changed. For years I have had osteoarthritis and have never managed find any treatments as helpful as Sara’s. One of the great aspects of her charming and kind personality is that she listens and is sympathetic to what one tells her whether it’s a rather strange idea of therapy one has picked up somewhere or the negative thoughts about old age one is going through and she is always so considerate about everything. If you are reading this because you happen to be thinking about making an appointment with either a physiotherapist for the first time or because you are searching for someone new to help treat your “aches & pains” I could not recommend Sara Mather more
