How InSync came about

Sara set up a business called Pilates In The Community back in 2013 after working for several years in the NHS and in private practice in her home village of Greenhead.

By 2019 the business had grown, and Sara noticed a need for a flexible physiotherapy service in and around Hexham. So many clients couldn’t travel for physio appointments so she set up a service that could go out to them.

Sara Says:

I’ve always enjoyed working in the community, so I launched InSync Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic, opened my premises in the heart of Hexham and opened the doors to welcome in new and existing clients.

Why choose InSync Physiotherapy?

Each member of the InSync team is DBS checked for working with children and adults and are all members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and HCPC.

InSync Physiotherapy is also registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and the relevant local authorities.

We believe everyone should be treated as an individual and are committed to working with people right across the community.

We’ve all got a minimum of five years’ experience in private practice and have all worked in the NHS too.

Our clients say…

  • Sara is a credit to the physio profession, she listens, cares, makes realistic easy to follow rehab programmes and I am pain free after several shoulder problems. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit her Hexham clinic. Great job and fab rehabilitation gym.

  • Sara has helped my daughter Sophie so much in the past couple of years. Sophie is a competitive synchronised swimmer competing across the country and Sara has helped her with both injury treatment and more importantly helping her understand and improve areas of weakness she needed to build up to reduce the risk of injury in the future.  She was particularly helpful in providing strength and conditioning exercises to help Sophie get ready to trial for England Talent.

  • Ever since I started my Physio sessions with Sara my physical life has completely changed. For years I have had osteoarthritis and have never managed find any treatments as helpful as Sara’s. One of the great aspects of her charming and kind personality is that she listens and is sympathetic to what one tells her whether it’s a rather strange idea of therapy one has picked up somewhere or the negative thoughts about old age one is going through and she is always so considerate about everything. If you are reading this because you happen to be thinking about making an appointment with either a physiotherapist for the first time or because you are searching for someone new to help treat your “aches & pains” I could not recommend Sara Mather more
